Holy sh*t, another year come and gone. Honestly, since I turned 30 the years seem to be flying past me.
I had plans for my holiday season to slowly work on some of my business, the stuff I couldn't get to during the regular week. Did I do any of my list? Absolutely not. My holidays consisted of playing Hogwarts, The Sims, getting through my TBR list (To be Read), and sleeping in. It was amazing.
The one bit of work I did do though was map out how I wanted my 2024 to look like, which meant hitting the white board and throwing on some low-fi tunes to help me focus. So, what came out of it? Read on.
In probably the most exciting update (for me anyway) is that my husband quit his job, and is now working with me in the business! This has been a goal of ours since Gemini was born, so this is a big deal for us. I'll introduce him in a few weeks, when he jumps on board.
As much as I LOVE branding, a light bulb went off towards the end of last year reminding me that it's ALL design I love, not just building brands. So this year I am focussing more of calling in epic one-off projects, like tarot cards, books, apparel, packaging etc.
With this being said, branding projects are absolutely still on the table however we will only be taking on 2 projects a quarter now. This is so when we jump into a project we're wholeheartedly in the thick of it with you.
Branding with Gemini is going to take a little bit of a turn mid-year, we will be introducing Human Design led brand strategy. This means when we work together on your branding, we're intertwining your human design into it. More on this later.
We will also introduce a couple of new offers this year, one will be very soon and the other around mid-year.
We won't be on Instagram too much this year, after much reflection I've come to the conclusion that Insta just isn't working for me with what I want to achieve. So, we're moving our content to YouTube, Pinterest and TikTok. See a theme? Video! Feel free to follow along.
Video is going to be a hardcore focus of ours in 2024, luckily now that Josh (my husband) is on-board with me he can focus on editing and posting and all I need to do is create the content.
Podcast. As you may be aware at the end of 2023 I rebranded the podcast to The Chaos, Creativity, and Cash Podcast. Podcast will drop every Wednesday, and you can find it on Spotify, Apple & of course, and on here.
